Instagram is one of the most well-known and successful digital platforms of the 21st century. This project included a SWOT analysis of Instagram to explore new facets that could help boost the company's image through a rebrand.
This rebrand aims to directly combat the issues of inauthenticity that Instagram has been facing in recent time, by placing Instagram’s biggest asset in the spotlight: the 2 billion users that actively use the platform. This new identity showcases how Instagram’s brand identity is ever-evolving and changing, just like its users and the world that it exists in. It reflects the changes made to the platform, visually, in the last few years, but also nods to where the platform has come from and is an ode to Instagram’s roots.
